Course Overview
This course involves integrating Python programming with hardware, specifically using Raspberry Pi systems (Raspberry Pi 4) and microcontrollers like the Raspberry Pi Pico. Students will design and implement real-world projects that combine Python programming with hardware components such as sensors, actuators, and communication modules. A major project under this outcome includes coding for the UMPSA STEM Cube, a pico-satellite simulation, where students will apply control structures and techniques to manage data collection and processing. By the end of this module, students will be able to develop functional Python programs that interact with hardware for innovative solutions.
