Course Description

This 3-day beginner program provides fundamental knowledge of process control, instrumentation, and calibration in the oil and gas industry. Participants will learn basic control systems, instrument technologies, calibration procedures, control valve applications, and ISO/IEC 17025 data recording. The course combines theory and practical sessions to develop essential calibration skills and ensure safe, accurate, and compliant calibration practices. 

Objective
1.To provide participants with foundational knowledge of process control and instrumentation used in oil and gas operations.
2. To equip learners with basic skills in performing instrument calibration and verification procedures.
3. To develop understanding of control valve functions, sizing, and application in process systems.
4. To strengthen participants’ ability to record, analyze, and report calibration data in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
5. To promote safe, accurate, and compliant calibration practices aligned with industry standards.
